The California Veterinary
Medical Board and other states use the National Disciplinary
Database (NDDB) to track out of state disciplinary actions.
The following defines what type of actions California
reports to the NDDB.
Any action involving revocation, suspension,
voluntary surrender, probation, negotiated settlement
or other action FOLLOWING a formal hearing
or proceeding and AFTER all appeals have been
exhausted and it is deemed public information for
purposes of reporting to National Disciplinary Database.
Any questions regarding this policy should
be directed to either Susan Geranen, Executive
Officer, or Gina Bayless, Enforcement Program
Manager,
at (916) 263-2610.
