  Veterinarians and Registered Veterinary Technicians who need a Letter of Good Standing/License Verification, must submit a written request with a $10 check or money order payable to the Veterinary Medical Board. Requests are usually processed within 10 to 20 business days. Requests can be mailed to:

  You must include the following information:
  
  
  • your license #
  
  • the mailing address, contact person, and any forms required by the state board to which you wish the information to be sent
  
  
  You must also check the Board's web site to make sure that the California Board has your current address on file. If it is not current, you must download an address change form and request an address change. The address change form is on the Board's web site at:

  NOTE: If it has been over 30 days since your address changed, you must enclose a fee of $15 along with your request.
